Post and Rope
Ordering the correct rope lengths is easy! Here are some quick things to remember:
When using ropes with posts, be sure not to exceed the maximum recommended rope length for the post (the specific maximum length for each post is found in each of the individual post pages).
When designing a queuing system (such as a "next-in-line" teller system), it is helpful to buy ropes in 3' and 6' lengths. This will provide you with maximum flexibility if you ever need to reconfigure your equipment.
Ropes are priced by the half foot. If you need a length that is between half feet (such as 6'-03"), you should order a 6'-06" length, and add a note for the factory to "Cut to 6'-03".
Post to Post: for ropes that will be hung between two posts, take the tightmeasurement from the center of one post to the center of theother post. Round up to the nearest inch (so 5'-3/4" becomes 5'-1").This will provide the perfect amount of "slack" for the rope to drapeproperly, because you actually attach the ropes to the loop, not the center of the post.
