Bamboo is a 100% sustainable and renewable product that is a grass, not a true wood. Bamboo comes in 3", 6”, 7” wide planks in both a standard and stranded product. Standard bamboo is 30% harder than oak, while stranded construction bamboo is rated at 3000+ on the Janka hardness scale. (Very, Very Hard!) The colors of bamboo can be natural, carbonized, and stained. When installed it can be nailed, floated, or glued.
